Logic Controls Limited Warranty & DOA
LOGIC CONTROLS LIMITED WARRANTY
Logic Controls- branded hardware products purchased in the U.S. or Canada, from authorized distributors, resellers, or Logic Controls Inc., may come with a 30-day defective on arrival (“DOA”) warranty, 1-to-3-year limited warranty or other limited hardware warranty. Logic Controls (also defined herein as LCI) may offer different delivery methods for warranty service, including parts and product dispatches. Renewals and extensions of your limited hardware warranty may also be available after you purchase your product(s). To determine the warranty that came with your hardware product(s), or the warranty renewal or extension that you purchased, you may need to speak to your local dealer, reseller, or salesperson. All warranties only apply to original purchasers, who are using the product for its intended purpose, while exercising due care in operating and maintaining the products as determined by LCI in its sole discretion.
DOA
Products in this category include those whose failure originates in a period less than 30 days from the time of purchase from the distributor and/or resellers, according to the invoice issued by the distributor and/or resellers. DOA does not cover failures caused by misuse or abuse of the product. In the event of a valid DOA, Logic Controls will replace the entire unit free of charge and will send the replacement unit to the distributor and/or reseller of the defective unit. The defective unit must be returned to Logic Controls. Logic Controls also offers the alternative of direct shipment to the destination of the unit, if the program of additional warranty coverage has been purchased; this program must be purchased at the time of purchase of the unit and will be confirmed through the proper presentation of the corresponding invoice.
ACKNOWLEDGMENT AND ACCEPTANCE
By placing any order for one or more units, this document shall be binding on, and contains the entire ACKNOWLEDGMENT and ACCEPTANCE by, the buyer of such units (“Buyer”) relating to the subject matter hereof (limited warranty), and any representation, affirmation of fact, and course of prior dealings, promise or condition in connection, therewith, or usage of the trade not incorporated herein, shall not be binding on either party. The rights and obligations contained herein shall inure to and be binding upon the parties, their legal representatives, successors, and permitted assigns. This warranty shall supersede any/all older written or implied warranty of the company.
Missing Parts
This category includes those products that the customer does not receive an essential part for the unit’s operation, for example, (i) cash drawers’ keys, power cables for monitors and/or printers, (ii) USB cables for (printers, monitors or cash drawers), (iii) audio cables for monitors, (iv) adapters for power supply all in one unit and (v) computers. If a customer discovers that they received a product with a missing part, the customer must first the email customer support reference listed below, then go online to the LCI website and complete a form to request a warranty ID number. Once the customer receives the warranty ID number from LCI support center, this must be done within the first 30 days after receiving the product. The customer must send a written notice to LCI to be covered by the product warranty. Said notice must include copies of the receipt of purchase, product ID and serial numbers and proof of purchase either from LCI, the distributor or the reseller. Power adapters will be shipped in accordance with the applicable laws, regulations and import guidelines of the destination country. If a customer requires a power adapter to be shipped to a country that restricts the importation of such items, the customer shall provide shipping instructions to LCI that are in accordance with such country’s laws, regulations and import guidelines.

Products covered under this category are those which usage and installation have been appropriate
and yet have stopped working 30 days after distributor purchase. In this category, failures may
have arisen simply because of use or unintentional malfunction. To fix this issue, the product must
be repaired by Logic Controls Support. If the product is located in any of the 50 U.S. states, contact
516-248-0400 or email Support@logiccontrols.com. If the product is located outside of these 50
states, the product must be repaired by an authorized Logic Controls service provider. Shipping
will depend on the terms of your unit’s purchase.
FOR COMMERCIAL CUSTOMERS (INCLUDING ANY BUSINESSES AND GOVERNMENT AND PUBLIC SECTOR CUSTOMERS) AND RESELLERS, THIS PARAGRAPH APPLIES IF YOU PURCHASE LOGIC CONTROLS PRODUCTS FOR RESALE OR FOR COMMERCIAL OR PROFESSIONAL PURPOSES. LOGIC CONTROLS’ RESPONSIBILITY FOR DEFECTS IN MATERIALS OR WORKMANSHIP IS LIMITED TO REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT OF THE PRODUCT AS SET FORTH IN THIS WARRANTY STATEMENT. EXCEPT FOR THE LIMITED WARRANTY EXPRESSLY STATED ABOVE FOR LOGIC CONTROLS-BRANDED PRODUCTS, LOGIC CONTROLS PROVIDES NO WARRANTIES OR CONDITIONS, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO ANY WARRANTY OR CONDITION (1) OF MERCHANTABILITY, MERCHANTABLE QUALITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, PERFORMANCE, SUITABILITY OR NONINFRINGEMENT; (2) RELATING TO ANY THIRD-PARTY PRODUCT OR SOFTWARE; OR (3) REGARDING THE RESULTS TO BE OBTAINED FROM THE PRODUCT OR SOFTWARE. LOGIC CONTROLS EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES AND CONDITIONS NOT STATED IN THIS LIMITED WARRANTY. THIS LIMITED HARDWARE WARRANTY MAY BE VOIDED BY LOGIC CONTROLS, AT LOGIC CONTROLS SOLE DISCRETION, IF THIRD-PARTY PRODUCTS THAT WERE NOT PROVIDED BY LOGIC CONTROLS ARE INSTALLED ON YOUR LOGIC CONTROLS SYSTEM.
To the full extent allowed by law, the warranties and remedies are exclusive and are in lieu of all other remedies, warranties, terms, or conditions, express or implied, either in fact or by operation of law, statutory or otherwise. Seller’s warranties herein extend to Buyer and to the ultimate end user (the “End User”), but are not extended to any other third parties.

Logic Controls cannot guarantee the authenticity of the products, limited warranties, service or support, or the accuracy of the listings of products you purchase from a third party. In some cases, such as with battery packs and power adapters, use of third-party products may pose an increased risk of reliability or safety issues, including increased risk of fire or explosion. This limited hardware warranty does not cover issues caused by installation or use in of any third-party product that was not provided by Logic Controls. For commercial customers, this limited hardware warranty may be voided by Logic Controls, at Logic Controls’ sole discretion, if you install or use in a Logic Controls system any third-party product that was not provided by Logic Controls.

- Ensure that you have installed any updates or resolved any issues identified by the
monitoring, diagnostic, and proactive support tools from third parties such as Team
Viewer/ Splashtop that are installed on your product. These tools may also be available
for download on a third party’s website. - Access https://support.logiccontrols.com/ for troubleshooting advice and directions on
running hardware diagnostics; and - Consult your Owner’s Manual.

Please also have your serial number ready when you are contacting Logic Controls.
What will Logic Controls do?
session to help determine the cause of your issue. Remote diagnosis may involve customer
access to the inside of the product and multiple or extended sessions. If Logic Controls
determines that your issue is the result of a defect in materials and the issue is not able to be
resolved remotely, Logic Controls, at its sole discretion, may dispatch a replacement part to
you, arrange for you to send your product or defective part back to Logic Controls repair
depot or replace the part or product with a comparable part or product that may be new or
refurbished.
If your limited hardware warranty has expired or if we determine that the problem is not
covered under this limited hardware warranty, we may be able to offer you service
alternatives on a fee basis.
We use new and refurbished parts made by various manufacturers in performing warranty
repairs and in building replacement parts and products. Refurbished parts and products are
parts or products that have been returned to Logic Controls, some of which were never used
by a customer. All parts and products are inspected and tested for quality. Replacement
parts and products are covered for the remaining period of the limited hardware warranty
for the product you purchased. Dell owns all parts removed from repaired products and, in
most instances, you will be required to return defective parts to Logic Controls.

Warranties for products that have been purchased by distributors and sold on the
LATAM/EMEA market are subject to the same warranty terms if applicable replacement or
repair is done at one of the authorized service centers. Shipping a new unit or repair
parts is possible based on the policy.
Credit may be provided for those customers outside of states when the parts of the units are
no longer available or upon Logic Controls decision.
RMA Procedure:
RMA Procedure
This Warranty shall be effective only if Logic Controls receives notice of such defects in materials and workmanship during the term of the warranty stated above. After Logic Controls receives such notice, Buyer shall obtain a Return Material Authorization (hereafter RMA) number. To obtain an RMA number, Buyer shall contact Logic Controls’ Customer Service Department, with the model number(s), serial number(s), and original purchase order number(s) of the product(s). Buyer shall include a brief description of the problem or failure mode experienced.
Before the Buyer contacts LCI they should Have the following items available:
- Proof of purchase: copy of Bill of Sale or itemized receipt
- Name/Contact Information on Distributor/Reseller
- Original Owner: Yes/No “Warranties are Non-transferable”
- Was product used in a hospitality environment?
- Describe care and maintenance provided to product:
- What was product used for/in what environment?
- How long have you owned product?
- Has product been repaired before? By whom?
- Have you opened the inside of the device?
- Have you made modifications to the device?
- Has item been dropped, knocked into, punched, kicked, hit?
After Buyer has provided notice and obtained the appropriate RMA number, Buyer shall return the product, upon request, to Logic Controls, not later than thirty (30) days after Logic Controls` receipt of notice of the alleged problem or failure mode. Buyer shall prepay all transportation charges for return of the product(s) to Logic Controls. All costs of customs clearance, shipping, and any other related charges for transportation outside of the contiguous 48 United States, shall be at the Buyer’s expense. Logic Controls shall, at Logic Controls’ option, repair or replace the product(s).
These remedies are in lieu of and exclude all others. Buyer assumes all other risks and liabilities for loss, damages, or injury, whether or not caused by Logic Controls’ negligence, to persons or property and arising out of, connected with, or resulting from, the use of Logic Controls` products or services either alone or in combination with other products or services. Seller specifically excludes any and all other warranties, written or oral, including, but not limited to, implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
In cases of defaulted factory replacements, any case filed after a period longer than 30 days from the date of purchase will be considered as a case of warranty. Warranty periods begin 30 days after the date the unit is returned to the customer by Logic Controls. If the problem persists, it should be reported within this period to be accepted, otherwise, it will be considered a new case.
